Kaw-liga has seen many miles through the mountains, on the trails and on the ranch. He’s spent his fair share of hours in the roping pen also! He is well suited for just about anyone. As long as you have a general idea of how to sit up there and ride you can ride him! He will ride out alone or in the midst of group. He gets along well with others and doesn’t kick or get aggressive in the midst of riding in a group or being pastured with others. Kaw-liga is user friendly and easy to get along with. He is one hand broke, just the point and go kind. He is not barn or herd sour in the slightest. Kaw-liga has seen every kind of terrain there is from the mountains to the swamps to the desert. He will ride through and over absolutely anything you point him at and is sure footed as they come. He crosses water with ease, doesn’t panic in the boggy swamp, is not bothered by thick brush and trees touching his legs and belly and picks his way carefully through tough to navigate areas. He is well experienced as a trail partner! Kaw-liga has also been ranched on and is well accustomed to all aspects of ranch work. He’s been used to gather cattle in big country and doctor calves, but his resume doesn’t end there. He is also good to head on in the roping pen! He is good in the box and runs right to the hip. He gives a smooth corner and is good in the field. Kaw-liga stays broke and is the same animal whether you ride him daily or once every other week. He can tolerate time off and does not get fresh. He’s never offered to buck, run off, or be the slightest bit spooky. Kaw-liga is well mannered. He stands like a gentleman to be groomed, saddled, bathed etc and is a gentleman for the farrier to shoe. He sells to be absolutely gentle and sound. His only quirk is that he is a typical mule when it comes to catching him and can be difficult to catch in a large area. His personality is all business and we really appreciate that about him! Kaw-liga is a rare find and will be sure to draw attention anywhere you go.
