A breathtaking, dark golden palomino HUNK!! We have owned Mav since he was a two year old and we have done everything under the sun on him! He has been used to tend to grass cattle, ship fats, sort pairs, and doctor yearlings on. He has drug many calves at the brandings and is the horse our daughter rides to gather on. Maverick was started in a cow horse versatility program and would be great candidate to show in the ranch versatility, ranch riding or just be your whole families favorite leisure horse! He works really well in high pressure situations, always stays quiet and is willing to please. Maverick is a beautiful mover! He can pitter patter jog or long trot so smooth! His lope has the perfect cadence and is slow on a long drape. He really just floats across the ground. Stylish spins, a big deep stop and smooth lead departures are just a few more of the things that make Maverick so much fun to ride! Maverick has also been trail rode in the Palo Duro Canyon by our 6 yr old daughter and our 8 year old son. He crosses water and down timber with confidence and ease. Maverick is an old soul out on the trails, sure footed and unbothered by anything! Maverick is a forgiving and very level headed individual, he is also a well rounded all around gelding making him suitable for all levels of rider. Incredibly gentle, every single day of the year Maverick stays the same. He does not get fresh or act foolish when given time off. Maverick is 200% pure and safe for any age or level of rider! Maverick has a sweet fun personality, he’s very curious and ready to be your best pal, while remaining a very respectful, well mannered gentleman. Maverick is a horse that our kids can catch, lead around the barn and handle all on their own. His manners are impeccable. This is a horse that you will genuinely love having around.
