2018 Red Dun Mare FOR SALE

I am helping out a friend so I will give all the information I have and what I’ve gathered since bringing her home. Other than that, come out and see her.

14.2h , UTD on everything , 100% sound , barefoot at the moment, aside from routine care she is no maintenance, ready to be given a job.

She was started by a reining trainer in Canada at age 3. Sold to a gal in Stillwater MN about age 4 and due to no fault of her own sat until about 2 months ago. The training she had was retained, she went right back to work for me once I got her home and settled in.

She is a little rusty but definitely has some fancy buttons that even I don’t know how to unlock (as I am not a reiner lol)

I’ve eased her back into ground work, basic light arena work, and got her out on trail (I was told she had never been and she handled it awesome)

She is in your pocket type, meets you with the halter everytime, so willing to work.

Trailer loads, stands tied, has been in a wash stall (does ok, little ancy but getting better), been trail ridden a handful of times solo, with other horses, with dogs.

Middle of pecking order in herd, she’s in my herd of 10 and doesn’t look for trouble but certainly can hold her own. She also has no issue being solo, independent enough to not mind some alone time in a paddock.

I will be continuing to work her lightly/basic; at the moment she could go really any direction and I’d like to keep her that way for future owner to take her any direction they want.

Ideally she needs an intermediate rider (I only say that as she had about 8 months off and is getting back into the swing)or at minimum a confident beginner who would work with a trainer.

I want to get this mare into her new home as soon as I can so please no tire kickers.
