Description:
We are looking to hire for our ranch in Martin,SD. Cow/Calf operation.

Ideal candidate would have to have prior experience in the ranching world, be a self starter, be able to be thorough/listen to direction. Also be honest and hardworking. This is not a “cowboy position”. We do use horses but if need be we also hop on a four wheeler to do certain tasks. We would like to find someone who has experience in: fencing, mechanicing, haying, some farming, silaging, feeding, calving cows and heifers, riding calves that we are back grounding (finding sicks/treating/recording info on them), working cattle, branding (rope and drag). Housing is provided (3 bed/2 bath/unfinished basement). Also would provide some beef and would be room for a couple of horses.
