Hunter is a well built, gorgeous 8 year old, 15.1h, quarter horse. Hunter is a ranch favorite because of his looks, willingness, and easy going personality! Hunter is not one to get spooked or act a fool. Hunter has the looks, personality, and knowledge that people look for in a horse! He is calm, level headed, and is the same horse no matter how much time off. He enjoys trails, whether it’s leading or following; alone or with a group. He is not afraid of new obstacles. He will cross ditches and water, and he will go up or down steep hills flat footed. Hunter can be roped off of, drag a steer behind him, carry a flag, etc and he’s content. Hop on him from a fence post, picnic table, mounting block, or off the ground and he stands each time. He really is not bothered. Talk about a good riding horse… his trot is smooth and his canter is rocking chair awesome! He is ridden western, knows his leads, will yield his forequarters and hindquarters, sits deep on his back end during a rollback, and he has a great stop and back up! He will ground tie, stands tied, loads and unloads, and is great traveling, with the farrier, and being bathed. Hunter would make a great ranch horse, trail horse, or even a youth 4H horse.
