Description:
Smokey is not only a gentleman, but a sweetheart too. Smokey is a true family horse. Everyone from grandma to little sister can ride him. He can step up to an advanced rider level as well. Smokey can also slow down and be very dorsal for a beginner rider. We have owned him for the past couple of years. Our 8 year old daughter has been his main rider this past year. Smokey can stand all winter and he will ride off like you stepped off of him yesterday. Smokey will catch you in the pasture instead of you catching him. He has a smooth gait, lopes nice circles each way, side passes, stops and backs up. He has been doctored off of, wrangled horses, crosses water, bogs, opens gates, and all other ranch work. Last summer Isabel barrel raced , steer daubed, and trailed cattle with him. Smokey is a wonderful friend to add to the family.
