Description:
We are a cow calf operation in Western Nebraska looking for full time help. We calve in May, June, and July, put up our own hay, and do nearly all our cattle work horseback. We also raise some horses and have a training program. Housing is provided.



Looking for someone very competent with a horse, ideally with experience riding young horses, to help with the training as well as help with all aspects of ranch work. Must be able to operate machinery, have experience handling cattle, be willing to shovel, scrub, paint, fix fence, stack square bales, and work long days. Must be able to work both alone and well with a team.



This position would be best for a young single person, as that is what our living quarters are suited for. We are a close knit team and put a high value on people that are polite, easy going and pleasant to be around. I also need someone who is willing to make adjustments to their riding/training style to best fit our program. I have found that men sometimes aren’t comfortable working under a young woman; if that’s the case this isn’t the job for you
