Description:
This is a multi dimensional operation. We raise Registered Quarter Horses (2012 will mark our 42nd annual sale) commercial Sim-Angus cattle along with a variety of small grains (mainly wheat & corn). Experienced ranch hand will be part of everyday operations and will need to communicate well, prioritize duties, and make sound decisions.



Duties will include: calving night checks, feeding, doctoring cattle and horses, fencing (building new and fixing existing fence), AI heat detection, working cattle (vaccinating, weighing, ai-ing, branding, etc.), ride young horses, check cattle routinely with horse, foal mares/check mares, help with annual horse sale, clean barn/pitch stalls, clean shop, up-keep yard, help with farming and haying (bale at night), and maintenance (grease, repair, clean) of new and modern machinery and equipment.



We provide housing in a mobile home (16x80) three bedroom, two baths. We provide both heat and electricity. We also provide the employee the opportunity to start his own cow herd. The facilities, equipment & winter feed for up to 50hd are part of the wage. Wages will be based on experience.
