He is built and has done about anything that involves a cow! Spirit has a lot of experience and has been ridden lots of miles in multiple states. He has natural horsemanship training and knows how to lay down and set on his rump. Spirit has been to team sorting events and won money on him, he has been started on the head side of the roping dummy, and has huge potential! He is big and stout and will have no problem turning a steer and is athletic enough to get you in the correct position for an easy catch. He will cross creeks, ditches, logs and navigate rough rocky areas. Spirit has been used to sort and doctor cattle. He is “cowy” and knows his way around them. He is safe riding in traffic safe. He has a smooth jog, a nice lope, a good stop, turns a circle both ways, sidepasses and backs with ease! He a confident horse on the trails and will lead the crew, head out alone or follow behind with no issues! He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed.
