"Sammy" is a 15yr old, 15.3hh, black, AQHA gelding that is a finished head horse. He won’t be for a beginner rider, but he is the real deal and will fit a wide variety of ropers depending on your confidence level.



Sammy has a great move and is quick to get you in position. Youth ropers have gotten along with him just fine, but they have been confident riders. Sammy can get tight in the box. He’s never offered to pull anything nasty, but will not always just walk out calmly when scoring.



He has been roped off by 4s and up and will top out at the 13s. He just recently returned from AZ, winning nearly $6k in just three days. He knows his job and is good at it. You only need to worry about catching the steer and he’ll put you in the money.



Sammy is 100% sound, has no blemishes, has never required any maintenance, and stays sound whether he is barefoot or shod.
