Description:
This beautiful buttermilk buckskin registered AQHA gelding is what dreams are made of. His registered name is REY JAY WILY and he is a 2018, 15.2 hand sweet as can be love bug. We call him JAY and can not say one bad thing about him. He has been with us for over one and a half years and has always been so easy and fun to work with. He has done so much from roping, ranch work, miles and miles of trails and not one thing that we presented to him has he ever had any issues with. We can shoot guns off of him, crack bullwhips, throw tarps and go through any obstacle. He will go down the trail with confidence and it does not matter if you are riding in a group or going out alone, he is always the same horse and does not get anxious. He can lead or follow and does not get upset if you ask him to ride away from the group. He has stood tied to the trailer and does not get buddy sour if you leave him there alone. He will go through water of any kind like creeks, streams and deeper rivers. He is great to ride down the road with traffic and does not get spooked if any deer or wildlife crosses your path while going out on the trail. He has three amazing gaits and will walk, trot, jog, long trot and lope in or out of the arena. He knows his leads well and anyone of any level of experience can ride him without any issues. He has been ridden western and english and is a joy to ride bareback as well. His gaits are very smooth and he will keep the same speed you ask him to go. He has a great neck rein and responds well to your seat and leg cues as well. He will move nice and steady with leg pressure but does not need a professional to ride him. RJ is one of those horses that is always happy to see you, he looks forward to his people and loves attention. He will drop his head into your arms for the best head hugs. He will stand like a gentleman to be groomed and is great for the farrier. He is wearing shoes all around because of where we ride, but has great feet if you want to go without them. He is easy going in the pasture with other horses and is not bossy at all. He will come right up to you when you go out to get him and does not have any bad habits in the stall. He has always been a barn favorite and it does not matter where we take him as he comes right off the trailer and settles right in without needing to be acclimated to his new surroundings. He is a true gem in the equine world and we feel confident that he will be someones new best friend.
