Description:
My names Dakota, single, 25 years old, looking for full time work. Cowboying, breaking horses, fixing fences, wrangling, whatever. Two years cowboy experience, 10 years horse experience. Two young green broke geldings and a semi working dog. Prior to cowboying I played college football at Indiana State where I graduated. I’m reliable, dependable and I’ll always shoot you straight. I got the fire in my belly and grit in my gut to do things the cowboy way. But a job is a job and I’m thankful for any and everyone to reach out. I’m looking for a March start.



- 15,000 acres with 500 head cow/calf operation

- Ran winter yearlings on winter wheat/corn stalks

-4 calving seasons experience

- Ran summer yearlings on grass pasture

- Log, count and record cows and calves

- Sort cows off calves

- Check for dry cows

- Check calving heifers, grass, water, etc

- Build, fix maintain, fence, water gaps, traps, etc.

- 30 miles from nearest gas station/town

- 100 miles from nearest Walmart

- Replace well pipe casings, sucker rods, water pumps with boom truck, patch stock tanks

- Light mechanical work on pick ups

- Light house repairs

- Light plumbing

- Break ponies young and old

- Minor diagnosing and doctoring of horses and cattle

- Pull gooseneck, haul cattle

- Operate hay loader, drive feed pick up

- Experience with “big country” bulls

- Experience with beefmaster and Brangus bulls

- Experience with beefmaster, Hereford, angus, Charolais, Bramer, longhorn, shorthorn, Corriente cows

- Experience with rough rocky country, thick brush

- Self starter, eager to learn

- Try to be a Man of God

- 10 years horse experience, 8 years volunteer horse rescue

- Valid drivers license

- Have two green broke mustangs, haven’t worked cattle yet

- Can rope but still green with a loop
