Job Description Provide leadership and direction to our thriving Agriculture and Ranch program. The successful candidate will have a sharp eye for mechanics, proven skill in agriculture and farming, experience or exposure to large animal husbandry, and display a high level of integrity, thoughtfulness, integrity and stewardship. Required: Proven experience in farming, land maintenance, upkeep and conservation Prior experience/exposure to all levels of hay farming and operation Skilled organizer for farm and ranch equipment Capable to provide oversight to a growing herd of grass-fed cow/calf pairs Skilled operator and caretaker of large equipment (trackhoe, tractors, hay equipment, etc) Basic mechanical knowledge to support rolling fleet, large equipment and implements with everyday maintenance Willingness to provide land maintenance support (clearing, planting, fertilizing, etc) Fence maintenance support (both wood and wire) Nice to have: Education and/or interest in sustainable models of agriculture and farming specific to the Mississippi Delta Willingness to participate in research around sustainable land, animal and people management Interest or skill in supporting land conservation efforts through wildlife management Subject matter expertise in agricultural chemicals or additives to support land and animals Basic welding knowledge Willingness to support gravel road maintenance *********************** Panther Creek Ranch is actively pursuing the creation of an inclusive, diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
