Anyone can ride his smooth and comfortable lope on a draped rein, easy-peasy lead changes, nice lope departures, pretty spins and kind heart. He is soft and collected with a true one hand neck rein. He has a well rounded background with a lot of experience in and out of the arena. Strider has show experience in the versatility classes and is low headed and fluid, as well as smooth on a cow. He is by an own son of Nu Peppy Chex who has sired NRHA money earners, horses with PHBA & BHRA points, AQHA points in halter, reining, working cow horse & western pleasure and sired by the NRHA 3 million dollar sire Nu Chex to Cash. Strider has been ranched on in big country. He’s gathered pairs and yearlings, is super fun and smooth to sort on in the gate or pairing out, doctored calves in the pasture, and heeled some in the arena. He’s quiet and easy to track cattle on and cowwy and fun to cut and sort with. Strider is super solid on the trail and accustomed to all kinds of terrain, water, rivers, mud, wildlife, traffic, machinery, dogs, kids and everything you throw at him.
