She is about the cutest thing you have ever seen, she has a personality to match! She is super gentle, kind, and easy to be around. She was used in her past life on a ranch where she did lots of outside work. If you love trail riding, then you couldn’t find one with a better walk! She walks out perfectly and can be in the front or the back. Up and down hills, thru water, with traffic, dirt bikes, dogs, she has been exposed to quite a bit. She was even used for a branding! Her previous owners used her as their kids horse, but personally I think she is more suited for a small adult who loves to trail ride. She is very gentle to be around and kind to kids, but hasn’t done much arena riding. I don’t think she should be a super green beginner horse because she has more "go" than someone who doesn’t know how to ride would be comfortable with. A handy kid who has ridden would be fine. In fact she might make an excellent gymkhana horse for a kid if they wanted to spend some more time with her in the arena to pattern her etc. I know she has had a rope swung on her, pasture roped, and will follow the hot heals. She neck reins easily, can give her face, backs up and has a good whoa. The only reason she is for sale is because I am not utilizing her as a trail horse (I thought I would be a , and since I show my cowhorse all over the Southwest I haven’t made Violet a priority.
