Super gentle gelding that anyone can ride. Always quiet, doesn’t get fresh, dog gentle on the ground and easy to ride. We have used this gelding around the ranch, he is well broke with a great attitude. He is a willing partner and is always a happy horse. Suitable for any level rider. We have put beginner level riders on Sugar with no problem. Best suited as family, pleasure or trail horse in my opinion, not enough speed or athleticism to make a performance horse. He has been totally gentle in everything I’ve asked him to do. Rides quiet in all types of surroundings and has stayed quiet with plenty of time off with all the rain we’ve had. Been around cattle on the ranch and has seen a variety of different sights in the city as well. Ride up and down hills, out in the mountains, or down the city streets. He is not spooky, and easy to ride. Just a chill laid back horse, not buddy sour or barn sour. Gets along with other horses excellent in a turn out, or can be stalled. Doesn’t whinny or get nervous. Ties, easy to shoe, loads and hauls and does all the things he should. This is just a nice easy horse to be around. He is sound with no vices or bad habits.
