Description:
Da Vinci is a gorgeous gelding that I am so proud to offer. If safety AND looks are a priority, he is your guy. He turns heads wherever he goes. He is a beautiful buckskin gelding with unique spots all through his white patches. Da Vinci is a trail rider’s dream! He has been trail ridden a lot, and he has been exposed to all kinds of trail obstacles and different terrain. We’ve never had one as sweet and gentle as he is. We have had beginner riders come over for a trail ride, and he is who we put them on. He babysat them even with loud traffic going by and barking dogs running out at him. He is as unflappable as they come. He also knows how to come and pick you up off a mounting block or gate for easy mounting and he lays down on command. My daughters go catch him out in the pasture in a halter and swing up on him to go for a ride. Da Vinci is the one we always use to carry flags at rodeos and parades. He loves attention, he meets you at the gate, and he will do anything you ask him to do. This gelding has very smooth gaits and he knows his leads. He has a one hand neck rein handle, he lopes on a loose rein, he has a great whoa, and he backs up softly in the bridle. Da Vinci has been exposed to loud noises, ropes, traffic, dogs, water, bridges, huge crowds, and he takes it all in stride. This gelding is also great for ranch chores. My daughter roped cattle on him, and he was perfect for her. He has also been used in the branding pen dragging calves to the fire. I really can’t say enough good things about him. He is the kind you don’t find every day. He acts like an older seasoned horse, but he is only 5 and has his whole life ahead of him. PPEs are welcome prior to the auction ending. He is guaranteed sound. Da Vinci has a current coggins and he is up to date on all of his farrier, dental, worming, and vaccinations.
