He is a gentle soul who follows you around the pasture and can’t wait to get picked to ride! My kids love him because he always wants a pet and we can trust him as much as any horse we’ve ever had. Amos stands 14.2 with a stout frame. He is a 2019 model registered Appaloosa gelding. He stands squarely on four straight legs and has the bone and foot of a horse much larger. You won’t find a stock horse with smoother transitions and he is sound everyday in every way! Amos has absolutely no vices and he pastures well with any horse and he also stalls well! This cool hand also does not need consistent riding to stay quiet, his easy going demeanor goes with him in every situation and we have been amazed by his quiet approach to any need obstacle or surrounding! We have trail ridden him extensively and hill, rocks, water and wildlife play no factor to his steadfast behavior. He will traverse any terrain you wish to cross. Amos has been started as a team roping horse and has headed many live steers out of the box and is roping the sled on the heel side. Amos has also been exposed to gunfire and has never flinched to the percussion or smoke. Traffic does not bother him and he has ridden many miles on the road.
