Description:
Pongo is a handsome, 12 year-old, paint gelding, standing at 15.1 hands tall. He has great conformation and is built to carry any size rider. This pretty boy turns heads when he gets off the trailer and has tons of eye appeal! Pongo is gentle, with excellent ground manners and has been many places, including the mall, city park, and ridden along the road during rush hour traffic. He is not spooky and enjoys new adventures. Pongo has done ranch chores and been ridden in the feedlot, pushing cattle and earning a day’s wage. He has spent many miles on back country trails and is sure footed in all terrain. He loads and hauls well and gets along with other horses. Pongo neck reins and does all the things a broke horse should - opens and shuts gates, side passes, haunch turns, and lead changes. He isn’t head shy or cinchy. He has been well cared for his whole life. His feet are done every 6-7 weeks and he has never taken a lame step. The neighbor’s 7 year-old daughter has enjoyed riding him around the place. He is used to kids, dogs, cats, goats, donkeys, bikes, cars, and machinery.
