Nothing, and I mean nothing, ever fazes this horse! Oakley has a rocking chair smooth slow lope, a sweet lead departure, huge stop and he is handier than your shirt pocket! This horse has a lot of expression on a cow, he is quiet in the herd and simple to prepare. Oakley has also been hauled on the heel side, he is quiet in the box makes the corner good and has a huge stop. We have also used Oakley for every ranch chore in the book. He is phenomenal to sort and ship on, fun to rope and doctor outside cattle on, great to drag calves on and steady eddy when gathering early. Oakley has a tremendous amount of personality, this horse adores people, he is extremely easy to catch and is always ready and willing for whatever task you ask of him. Oakley is the kind of horse that can stand around and not get rode for months at a time and then when you finally pull him out and ride him he is the exact same as the last ride. Absolutely zero funny business with Oakley; he is always a super safe and reliable ride.
