Description:
BPS. Very custom CAL COOK beartrap ranch saddle. Handmade by McCall’s custom saddle maker--Cal Cook in Vernal, UT. Fits like a 16" because of the way your legs tuck under the bear trap swells but is actually a 15". Very custom unique saddle. I was told this style cantle is made to help relieve lower back pain by changing the angle of the hips. Very comfortable. This saddle has a rawhide covered hardwood tree. Real sheep’s wool underside. Mule hide wrapped roping horn. Custom stitched Rawhide covered stirrups. Brass hardware. Beautiful saddle. It is in excellent condition except for 2 scuffs on back of pommel seen in pics.
