Started right and has a solid foundation. He’s the same horse every single time you pull him out of the stall! Ride him everyday or once a year, he’ll never forget a thing you teach him! No buck, bite, bolt or rear! I stand behind this little gelding 100%. I truly love him! He’s 100% traffic and trail safe. When they were breaking him he was used as a rabbit hunting horse where they shot guns off of him in Kentucky! A 65 year old man rode him all down the trails! He may be young, but he’s been the miles! Point him anywhere any and he will go with no hesitation! He crosses all water, and goes through and over any type of obstacle, terrain and brush. He’s been used on a feed lot for 2 weeks and started on the breakaway sled. He was a puppy dog in town! No semis, 70 MPH cars or walking pedestrian phased this guy! Ride him up the stairs or the side walks! He has no spook in him, he will literally stop and sniff the object and go right on. In the arena this gelding’s foundation truly reflects a great trainer and a great training program! He WTC with ease and has flawless transitions. He knows his correct leads, and will do a simple lead change transition. We currently are working on a flying lead change. He has a big stop, will spin around. He will collect on the bridle or lope on a loose rein! He will also neck rein! An experienced rider can go out and push every single button and be happy. Then go throw your 5 year old on him to go cool him out and ride down the trails. He would be a prefect rope horse or western dressage prospect! 8Ball is a horse you will get years out of and be the horse you’ll have a hard time replacing and finding another one like him. He is sound, safe, sane, and stunning! A full jet black coat that is literally as soft as silk! No health or maintenance issues. He does have a pin needle size scar on his left eye from poking his eye with hay transporting to us. It has been treated and is completely fine. But I feel like I must mention it! Even though most will never notice it. He stands to be tied, bathed, groomed, and tacked. He loads and unloaded in any type of trailer. He does great in new places and travels well! He is not buddy or barn sour! He is a personable horse, so he seeks attention and being loved on. He will meet you at the gate every single day! He is low man on the totem pole, but likes to play with other horses! He does just fine by himself as well! He will stand at the trailer tied all day and night long! I believe this gelding will mature out to be 15.0HH and be a stout and brick like body structure. He is an easy keeper and has great conformation! We have had individuals from all age and skill levels get along with 8Ball! He is very uncomplicated and forgiving!
