Description:
I’m Zakery Wallace, a 28 yr old Marine Corps vet seeking a position ideally in the Great Basin area, UT or NV. I have experience with most all aspects of a cow/calf, as well as a stocker/feeder operation. Currently I’m working at a cow/calf and stocker ranch in SE Kansas where I assist in all day to day operations including; feeding, daily checks to identify sick animals and doctoring them, branding (both freeze and hot iron), ensuring water is available and repairing lines if necessary, welding, hauling cattle, sorting, etc.. While I would say I’m more on the green side, my work ethic and drive to be a part of this industry makes up for lack of experience. I am constantly striving to better my horsemanship and low stress cattle handling.
