Bar V Stetson is stout enough to handle any work load but also about as pretty as a horse can get! Stetson is bred top and bottom to work and rope on the ranch, at the rodeo or in the show pen. His sire, Gay Bar Dun, (ROM Steer Stopping and points Heeling) is a maternal brother is Gay Bar Drummer (many time APHA World Champion). Stetson’s grandsire, A Tru Rolex, is the APHA All Time Point Earning Open Stallion and a leading point earner in 6 cattle events. Stetson’s maternal grandsire, Dun Kiddin Amigo, (NRHA LTE of $11,000 and offspring earnings of $60,000) is sired by Brenna’s Kid, a NRHA Futurity Champion (NRHA LTE $114,000 and offspring LTE of $584,843). Stetson’s sire and dam are both five panel N/N. Stetson has been used several seasons as an outfitter’s horse. Rivers, streams, steep rocky trails or icy, muddy trails, it doesn’t matter. Stetson is safe, solid and steady on the trail. Stetson is also a get-the-job-done type ranch horse. He has pulled lots of calves to the fire and worked in the feedlot. He hasn’t pasture or arena roped much yet but could sure catch on to that also. Stetson is very well broke with a good neck rein, soft stop, sidepass, long trot and good lope.
