If you’re looking for a thick made, big footed, dark gelding, he’s the one! He’s put together like you would want one for a long day’s work. He has team roped and tracked the dummy as well as the mechanical flag. He has dragged calves to the branding fire and has gathered cattle. He opens gates and is confident on the trail. He has been down municipal trails with cyclists, strollers, loud dogs, and traffic. He has also been in the high rockies and crosses water, bogs, rough terrain, and deadfall. John has the extended trot of the century! He’s smooth in all gaits and has a good neck rein and sidepass. He will lope off collected from a walk. You can ask this horse to run one minute and then walk the next, and he will drop his head and walk just as quiet as before. John likes to get to know his person and then he’s totally on your side for all adventures! Great for the farrier, vet, bathing, and clipping. He will stand quietly tied all day long. Hauls off property and rides around like he’s lived there his whole life. John is current on vaccinations, coggins, deworming and teeth. He is 8 years old and 15.2 hands.
