Description:
Wanted: Ranch Hand to work for a Grazing Association in Ten Sleep, WY, located at the foot of the Big Horn Mountains. Come ride and work in good, beautiful country. We are in the saddle 80% of our days: trailing through diverse pastures from sagebrush flats, to deep green meadows, and into the juniper and pine of the Big Horn Mountains. Duties include: taking in cow/calf pairs in the spring and moving them to allotted pastures, turning bulls out, moving cattle to summer pastures up the mountain, monitoring water tanks and salt throughout summer, fixing fence. In the fall: preg test, wean, and ship cattle out. Perform other ranch related tasks as needed. Must have: 4-6 head of saddle horses, the ability to work independently or in a crew with association members, welding is a plus. Provided: Furnished Studio Apartment.
