Description:
Large Western Colorado Cow/Calf Operation:

Looking for a full-time ranch hand. All cow work is done on horseback using low stress cattle handling techniques. We also raise our own hay and finish custom beef in our own feedlot. Need someone proficient in calving, doctoring, fencing, irrigating, hay production, Operating Farm equipment and maintaining it. Must be self-motivated and be able to work alone when necessary. Best if you can provide your own horses. Families welcome but will need to move from main ranch to high elevation summer grazing for the summer/fall then back down for the winter/spring.

Provided:

-Housing/utilities

-Ranch truck/trailer

-1 week paid vacation

-1/2 beef

-$30 to 36k salary depending on experience.
