Description:
We are large family operated farm and feedlot east of Billings, MT. We have a position available immediately for a pen rider looking for a long term position. Duties to include identifying, handling and treating sick/injured cattle, processing and shipping and facility maintenance, which includes cleaning out pens and hauling manure as needed. We are looking for someone with experience in doctoring cattle, must be able to ride proficiently and can work independently from the start.



We are a diversified operation, so while the position is 95% in the feedlot, it also requires you be able to drive heavy equipment such as tractors, loaders, and trucks if the need arises for feedlot maintenance. You must be willing to irrigate and help during corn harvest. Welding and mechanic skills are a plus.



Pay is DOE but starts between $2,000 and $2,500/month, housing is provided, beef and other incentives for the right person. Families welcome, however the job is for one cowboy, not a couple.
