Ranch raised and ranch ridden. She’s had a good start from the ground up. Good to catch, deworm, saddle and bridle. Will stand tied as long as needed, stands great to be trimmed. Self-loads in a trailer and backs out easily. She’s been ponied by another horse. Super fun to work in a round-pen, really watches your movement. I started riding her last spring, she lopes nice circles out in the pasture, picks up both leads, sidepasses, tucks her nose in for a good stop and back-up. Will give to direct pressure and neck rein. Will open and close gates. She was turned out all winter and the first day I saddled her up this spring I just lunged her in a couple circles and got on. She didn’t offer to buck, or bolt; we just went to kicking pairs out. She’s great at crossing ditches, bogs, downfall, and manuevering through sagebrush, really good at watching her feet. Moved cows and pasture sorted with her, but mainly been pairing out with her lately. To be clear, she’s still green, I’m not selling her as a seasoned horse for a beginner.
