Description:
Here is a vintage bit by the late, great, bit maker Gary Avila of Danville, CA. This loose jaw bit is in excellent shape save for some light surface rust from being on the coast. It has a 5 1/4" wide San Joaquin mouth with tongue relief and a 7 7/8" long shank. The flower concho is 2 3/4" in diameter. The engraving is superb. The feel is great and many horses will like this mouthpiece. There will be no more and this is a great example of Mr. Avila’s talent. Buyer pays shipping of $15.50 and I’ll pay insurance. I accept PayPal only which takes any credit or debit card.
