CHECK OUT THE PEDIGREE! QUALITY! This mare is absolutely the whole package and then some!!! To top it off she is also homozygous for the black gene!! Meaning she cannot ever produce a red foal. Okay, now if you are not impressed enough I am going to talk about her perfect disposition. Shady is the sweetest, kindest mare with a heart as big as her body!! She is as quiet as a mouse in a stall, pen, run, turn out, and loves people, even when she gave birth to her first foal. He needed some help nursing at first and Shady let us do anything we needed to so we could help him. She loved him right off the bat and has been a great mother. Easy breeder (AI) and is only open now because she had her colt late in the season and in Texas that is not a good thing. It was already getting really hot and that makes it very difficult to get them bred back. Plus she had a very quick foal heat and we missed it. This is way too nice of a mare to be having late foals so we decided to leave her open to breed early in 2022! She comes with an optional breeding to your choice of our stallions for the 2022 breeding season, you will just be responsible for the chute fee to the vet and shipping costs.



Her 2021 stud colt by Electric Code is also available to buy as a package or Shady will be available to leave this fall, after she is weaned.



She stands a solid and stout 14.3 hands.



She is tested EE Aa and HYPP N/N, HERDA N/N, GBED N/Gb, PSSM N/N, MH N/N, IMM N/N.
