This is the perfect opportunity for someone who would like to take on the challenge of a larger operation to prove your capability and skillset within the industry. The company provides very competitive salary, an excellent benefits package including health, dental, vision, 401k with company match. Also, there is always room to grow internally within the company over time. Staff Accountant Responsibilities but not limited to the following: • Perform all activities related to accounts payable, accounts receivable and accrual accounting. • Reconcile bank statements, credit card statements and general ledger accounts. • Responsible for accurate data entry into the accounting software and cattle system. • Accurate data entry of farm records, FSA reports, compliance reports. • Variety of activities in the office, including but not limited to filing, answering phone, mail distribution, order supplies, organizing documents, basic bookkeeping and more. • Work and communicate with upper management toward overall business goals and maintaining accurate records. Staff Accountant Requirements: • Minimum of 5+ years of accounting experience and cattle/farming operation. • Ability to have good customer skills, be detailed-oriented, multitasking, time management and very organized. • Must be able to work in fast-paced environment, work independently and in a team setting. • Dependable, Discretion and trustworthiness • Clear and effective communicator both written and verbally.
