This gentle, easygoing gelding has been a jack-of-all-trades around the ranch! Over the past couple of years we’ve used Russell to move pairs, pony colts, brand calves, rope in the pens and gather pastures. He’s pitched in to take friends on trail rides and pull the kids on sleds, ride bareback, give lessons in English tack and go swimming in the ponds. Russell can help you get a job done but has a laid-back disposition that makes him a good trail horse too.



Russell is easy to be around, willing to cross whatever you need him to and good with roping and dragging a barrel, moving cows along the roadway, crossing or carrying plastic tarps, pushing up into a herd of cows, etc. He does well with time off and gets along in the herd.
