This gelding is fancy broke and solid in every shape, form, and fashion. He is a grandson of High Brow Hickory (sired earners of over $5million) and is out of a Capitol Letters mare who is by the great Doc’s J Jay who was the #1 rodeo horse siring son of Doc Bar. Bodie was bred, raised, and used on the same ranch his whole life. He has literally drug thousands of calves, has sorted and doctored just as many, and loaded hundreds of trucks. This is a horse you can take to the pasture all year long and he’s going to know how to do everything you need him to. You can sit him down and roll him over his hocks wherever you please and he’ll lope right out of his tracks then drag his tail. He’ll cow up and cut one just like he’s bred to do and has more speed than most horses his size. Although he’s never been called upon in the arena other than to turn back, Bodie would be very easy to tune up and go show in the Non Pro in the cutting or ranch horse divisions, be a successful team penner/ sorter, or you could have a fantastic heel or breakaway horse with very little effort.
