Description:
Richard is 2003 model ranch and youth gelding. He has a history of reining in his youth and 4-H western pleasure. He is a great horse for a kid learning how to rope in the branding trap. He will go as slow or as fast as a beginner roper needs or wants to go. He has been a buckaroo horse on big ranches in Nevada and Oregon and has drug a thousand calves to the fire over the years. Great for heading and heeling. He has been used as a queen horse and kids event and playday horse. Richard is not for little kids he needs a kid who knows how to ride. However, he is great for youth or early teen riders and for older folks wanting a gentle ride. He is still used as cowboy horse, most recently this spring on the Lucky 7 Ranch in McDermitt, NV.
