Description:
Sadie is a really nicely built 8 year old brown mare, 15.3 hh and close to 1200 pounds. She is a grade quarter horse. She is dappled with a pretty head and a kind eye, a ton of bone, and 4 black feet. Sadie is very sweet and an in your pocket type horse with good ground manners and a friendly, willing disposition. She has been ridden both English and western, and is a very pretty mover. Sadie is good on both leads, and has a very smooth trot and rocking horse lope. The majority of her riding has been done in the arena, so she will ride outside but is very unsure and needs some coaxing at times. For this reason we are selling her as a project horse for an experienced rider. She is absolutely not dangerous and doesn’t do anything stupid like buck, rear, bolt, spin, etc., she just stops occassionally and needs to be coaxed forward. With another 30 days of consistent riding she will be a whole different horse. We have ridden her alongside the highway and in traffic and she isn’t bothered by it. Asking $3500.
