He’s been used year-round extensively out in the pasture as well as in the feedlots. He’ll work any gate you need, hold and drag whatever is attached to the end of your rope, and will go wherever you need to out in the pastures. He has been roped off of some in the arena but not competively although you could take him to a weekend jackpot and probably win you some money. If you’re not looking for a real deal ranch gelding but are just needing something to enjoy riding outside, Hollywood fits the bill for that as well. He’s good for water crossings, enjoys going out in a group or all by himself, and is confident enough even in new locations he acts as the lead horse for younger more weary horses to follow and gain confidence from. He’s soft in his body, easy to ride, has a nice handle, and is willing to do anything you need him to do. Hollywood has good ground manners and stands for grooming, bathing, and the farrier without any issues. He’s easy to saddle and bridle and will stand like a statue for you to get on/off. He’s been turned out with geldings, mares, and ponies, as well as stalled without any issues.
