Wichita, stands 15.1 and weighs 1,250lbs and is 8 years old. This sure footed red roan gelding has seen every facet of ranch life and has been a pleasure to ride in the arena. From heading steers in the arena to making big circles in rough country, this horse is always one I want under me. He has had everything under the sun roped on him from herd bulls to calves at branding. Wichita has seen many long days in the mountains as well. He has helped pack out elk and beat up and down the trail. He is as solid of a mountain horse as you could ask for. Whether you are sorting, branding, or asking him to take care of kids, this horse will handle any job you throw at him. I have headed steers and roped bulls at rodeos on Wichita. He never misses a step and is ready to go every morning that you walk to the barn. There is honestly not a person or a job that this horse would not fit. He is gentle with absolutely no buck.
