He is that horse that everyone is looking for, safe, gentle, well broke, and easy on the eyes. Bullet is 16 years old and 15hh, and sells as grade. He is a lineback dun with zebra stripes on his legs, and when he sheds out he has the most beautiful dapples all over his body. We bought him from a 75 year old man who had ridden him around the ranch until the man got sick a couple years ago. We stepped right on him when we bought him and even after two years off he required no warm up. Bullet has never offered to buck, rear, bite, kick or take off, and stays gentle even if not ridden regularly. He came off of a ranch in South Texas, where he was used for all phases of ranch work, including sorting pairs, roping and doctoring cattle in the pasture, and checking fence. Bullet rides quietly on a loose rein, preferring to walk or trot, but will step into a lope if pushed. He is safe for kids, beginner, and even grandma to ride. He is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, crosses water with no problem, and isn’t spooky. Bullet has a good handle and stop, will sidepass, and work a gate. He will carry a flag with no problem, and we have never found anything that bothered him or scared him. He would be a great confidence builder, as he will only go as fast as his rider wants him to go. Bullet has excellent ground manners and loves attention, and he rides just as good bareback with a halter as he does with a saddle and bridle. He can be ridden out by himself or with other horses, and doesn’t mind being separated from the group. Bullet has also been ridden alongside the road and in traffic and isn’t bothered by it. Asking $5,500. He has excellent ground manners, stands quietly tied, and is easy to catch, load, haul and shoe. He recently had shoes, teeth and coggins done so he is ready to go.
