Description:
Very gentle 2 yo Calving Ease Angus bull named “Kansas” available (born March 2019), we used him on our heifers last year, they are having his calves right now. He has very good docility (you can feed him cake out of your hand). He has stayed extremely sound, not a single problem with him. He is related to too many of our cows, so he needs to find another set of girls to romance. Our consulting vets can perform his bull soundness exam (to include trich test) prior to delivery. He is out of a commercial black cow with A LOT of longevity and good milk, he is sired by SydGen Mandate. Mandates are extremely good calving ease, we have never pulled any Mandate calves and have bred to Mandate for many years. Kansas was PAP tested by Dr. Tim Holt last spring and he tested low, so could be candidate for high country. Photos of “Kansas” and his sire “Mandate” are below. He is not registered, would be a commercial black angus bull. Asking $2500.
