Skye is a super pretty paint mare that is super gentle for most anyone. She rides nice and will direct rein, neck rein, pick up her leads and stop easily when asked. She is easy to lope off and is super smooth. If you’re looking for a rope horse, barrel horse or a speed demon this isn’t the horse for you. Her main job in life has been to be a family safe trail horse for all ages. She’s been hauled all over including to Caprock Canyon, The Kiamichi Mountains and Dinosaur Valley to name a few. She’s been ridden with small and large groups and will ride anywhere in the herd. She rides off by herself if you want to go on a nice quiet ride alone. She goes through water, up and down hills and mountains, through brush, over logs and bridges. She’s accustomed to riding around dogs, donkeys, bikes, ATV’s, tractors and joggers. She’s been ridden down the street and is traffic safe. Your kids can go along with you and use her to help gather and move your cattle. She’s great to prowl around all day checking cows. Or go check fences on her. The kids can take her swimming in the pond. Whatever you do on her she’s always gentle. She’s ready to be your next riding companion. Skye doesn’t have any bad habits. She stands for the farrier, ties, loads and hauls.
