Description:
SPECTACULAR LEATHER CRAFTMANSHIP! Hand tooled reproduction of a circa 1890-1920’s California style saddle with a slick fork tree with a 15 inch seat and 5 inch cantle. Full double rigged with 4 button slotted seat and exposed stirrup leathers and tapaderos. Braided horn covering, braided swell front and braided cantle binding. Matching saddle bags. All of the rings, buckles and conchos are brass. The tooling is in the old style California full floral pattern. When I purchased it I was told the saddle was made in the early 80’s. There is no makers mark. It doesn’t look as if it’s ever been on a horse. It’s been in our den at the ranch for many years. We’ve displayed the workmanship rightfully as quality piece of art. This saddle should be displayed in it’s new owners home or ranch.
