He is a stout, well built 7 year old black and white paint gelding, 15.3hh and close to 1250 pounds. He is very nicely built with a big hip, plenty of bone, and a beautiful long, thick mane and tail. Mint is quiet and gentle with a friendly disposition, and has never offered to buck, rear, bite, kick or take off. He rides quietly on a loose rein, prefers to be slower rather than fast, but will easily step into a trot or lope when asked. Mint has been used on the ranch a little bit, has sorted pairs and has had a few roped off of him, and has been extensively pasture ridden. He has been ridden on overnight and multi day trail rides, alongside the road and in traffic, and is solid with no spook. Mint is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, crosses water, and will go up, over or through anything you point him at. He has a decent handle and stop, smooth gaits, is good on both leads, and will work a gate. He can be ridden out by himself or with other horses, and isn’t bothered by being in a large group.
