He is very nicely broke, with an excellent neck rein and stop, and all the buttons you want on a ranch horse. Fluffy spent the majority of his life on a ranch out in West Texas, where he was used for all phases of ranch work, including sorting pairs, roping and doctoring cattle in the pasture, and checking fence. He is extremely cowy and would make an excellent sorting horse. He has also done some playdays and has plenty of gas and handle to be a lot of fun for the older kiddos. Fluffy is 17 years old but that isn’t hurting him, he is sound and in good health. He is the perfect size at 14.2hh, stout enough to carry a man but low to the ground and easy to get on. He is very well built, with a big hip, wide chest and plenty of bone. Fluffy has never offered to buck, rear, bite, kick or take off, and he rides quietly on a loose rein with plenty of gas in the tank if needed. He is a pleasure to ride out in the pasture, crosses water with no problem, and isn’t spooky. Fluffy can be ridden out by himself or with other horses, will happily lead or follow, and doesn’t mind being separated from the group. He has a smooth trot and lope that are easy to sit to, and will sidepass and work a gate. He has also been ridden alongside the road and in traffic and isn’t bothered by it. Asking $4000. Fluffy does have an old wire cut on the side of his right rear hoof, which does not seem to bother him at all.
