This is a very good looking, well made, buttermilk Buckskin, long black mane and tail to the ground and lots of athletic ability to top it off. He is by a producing son of multi World Ch. reining/cowhorse, Tejons Peppy Doc. Boudan has been ranched on in Louisiana for the last couple years before coming to NM. He was used on a registered outfit tagging calves and rotating pastures every few days. Most horses we get out of the flatlands take a little bit to get use to the rough stuff and the rocks, this horse will feel like he was raised in the rocks. This is a gentle horse but he has a motor and some pep to his step, so you will need to like that kind. He has a rocking chair lope that is smooth to ride, takes his leads, moves off your leg, auto on gates, good with dogs. A great work ethic, go anywhere he is asked, ride out alone or in a group and split up, he could care less. Double tough, go all day without ever questioning you. He is very brave and does not spook or look at anything outside. He is cowy and will watch one outside or in the pens sorting. Punched lots of cattle in some tough country with dogs.
