Description:
We are currently seeking an exceptional farm hand for our scenic horse and cattle ranch in north Texas. We are hoping to find someone who wants to be a part of a close-knit family and share their life with ours. Our farm is 365 acres of land dedicated to raising grass-fed cattle and providing a full-service horse facility. Duties include cattle activities, heavy equipment operation, maintenance, and other general farm work to assist the owners while they are gone. A one bedroom furnished home will be provided for you.

7+ years of ranch/farm hand experience is required. Applicants must have verifiable references and be willing to submit to a criminal background check.

Candidates for this position must possess the following characteristics:

• Love of animals

• Horse riding & cattle skills

• Attention to detail

• The ability to work independently and make decisions

• The ability to take and follow directions easily

• The ability to flexibly move between a wide array of tasks

• The ability to adapt well to changes that are being made on the fly

• Clean and neat - but willing to get dirty, dusty, and wet

• Physically active, healthy, and capable of lifting heavy objects

• The ability to service and maintain farm equipment

Ideal candidates will have a high sense of integrity and morals as you would be joining our family here and representing our business. We promise a warm, family atmosphere, privacy, and beautiful sunsets. The historical town of Farmersville is nearby and offers plenty of activities. We ask that you do not smoke, drink, or do drugs.
