He has a huge hip, big strong shoulders, and an attractive head with a soft, kind eye. But he’s more than just easy on the eyes, this horse knows all there is to about ranch work! He’s incredibly handy to have around and use whether you’re in or out of the arena. "Tank" has more cow sense than people do common sense by a landslide. This gelding has had all aspects of ranch work done on him inside and out; has had plenty roped and doctored on him, been ridden lots in the feed yard, has loaded trucks, been sorted on, used to load bulls - you name it, he’s done it. He has also been hauled to some ranch rodeos. He has great manners and is incredibly user friendly too. You can throw just about anyone on and let them help you for the day or just simply go out for a ride. This gelding is just as nice in the arena as well! Super solid neck rein - rides right between your reins, pack a bridle correctly and stays collected, turn around both ways, side pass, good stop/back up, picks up both leads and lopes good circles. "Tank" has a slow, easy jog but when asked, will step it up into a working or long trot and his lope is as smooth as can be. No buck, rear, etc. Will ride out alone or in a group. He stays just as quiet and composed when riding through town too. Not phased by traffic, pedestrians, dogs, etc. He’s easy to be around no matter what environment he’s in or what he’s doing. "Tank" is a solid 15/15.1 hands, weighs 1200 lbs and has BIG bone and solid feet to back it all up. He is made right and will no doubt last for many years to come! Stands to be groomed, saddled, bridled, mounted, bathed, for the farrier, etc. He loads and hauls good, and gets along great with other horses as well. He is healthy and sound; clean legged, no scars, no lumps, no bumps. No special feed, supplements or care needed for this guy.
