Salary: DOE Room & Board: Housing provided Phone #: tamsbaugh@ixranch.com click to view fullsize image Description: The NL Division Foreman is in charge of overseeing 22,000 acres of deeded, BLM and state land as well as a 10,000 acre private lease. This position reports to the IX Manager but works closely with other area foreman/division managers to ensure efficient and economical use of resources. This division is home to 1000 mother cows in the winter followed by 440 cows that calve in March/April and graze the open range throughout the summer. The private lease runs 230 pairs from April to September, coming off with bred cows in December. The NL foreman is responsible for animal health and welfare, stock water and all infrastructure including buildings, equipment, fences, corrals and irrigation systems. The foreman is also responsible for all hired crew members while at the location. The NL is 37 miles (16 miles gravel) from the town of Big Sandy, MT This position pays a competitive salary and includes benefits such as paid vacation, health insurance, performance bonus, beef, fuel allowance, SEP (Simplified Employee Pension) and retirement package.
