Description:
Experienced cattleman seeking long term ranch hand, ranch manager or cow boss job.

I have 15 years of experience overseeing all aspects of cattle operations, horse barns and employees and have a B.S. in Animal Science. I am a self-starter and can work just as well alone as I can with others. We are looking for a family-friendly ranch to call our long-term home.



An outfit with family housing, that also allows my family (wife and two children) to be involved when appropriate is imperative.



Experience includes:



* Managing all aspects of day to day cattle operations. .

* Calving around the clock, gathering, branding, processing, shipping, preg checking, vaccinating, deworming, castrating, weaning.

* Monitoring heard health, detecting sickness and doctoring cattle

* Assisting in the AI of cows and heifers.

* Roping and riding.

* Rotational grazing.

* Managing all aspect of irrigation with wheel lines and pivots.

* Using a swather, raking, baling, hauling hay.

* Operating several different sizes and types of tractors, feed trucks, skid steers, graders and dozers.
