This is a smart and talented young horse with a strong reining and working cow-horse foundation that has set him up for success in a variety of disciplines. He has been shown in the reining classes and has the training and ability to either continue on in the cow-horse or show in the ranch riding. He is nicely trained with a soft handle, rides one handed in a bridle and has a big stop and correct spins. He travels balanced and collected with one of prettiest slow jogs around and has a nice rocking chair type lope. Smooth gaits, easy transitions and lopes right out on the correct lead. Dominick has also been used to perform most aspects of ranch work. He has plenty of cow, is fun to cut or sort on and has started roping the hot heels. He is just as solid to ride outside of the arena and is an excellent trail horse who will go out alone or in a group and crosses water, bridges, deadfall and other obstacles with ease.
